Butterfly Sample Using Filamentality

This may help shed some light...

This sample is from an individual who created a web page on the life cycle of a butterfly.

Note that it was created using the filamentality tool.

I'm wondering if the web pages can be made to be more "visually appealing"? I'll explore more.

Hello there, Kate! Is this html "lite" process similar to buILder? There we could create web pages that looked quite professional, without putting in html code ourselves. I agree with you, the butterfly page is a bit sparse, though if it is geared for younger readers, the white space might be appropriate. I am off to find info on 1:1 computing . . !

Hey Julie-

Yes, similar to buILder, I suppose, but maybe a bit easier to create. You remember how in buILder we really had to recreate everything from scratch- not cut/paste...etc.

But, as I explore this topic more I'll hopefully find different examples to post- perhaps more colorful!

Again I agree with the lack of graphics(pics or videos). If these pages are going to compete with what's out there, they need to catch the user's eye.

I am really surprised that they host people's pages on their server for free. Usually, one has to pay for this. I wonder how they can afford to do this and have room to host everyone's pages?
